The one-day
idea-to-income challenge
Sellable
Before
Sunset.
Turn your idea into something someone can buy before the day ends.
01 — The challenge
You have
until
sunset.
You’ve had the idea. Maybe it’s been sitting in your Notes for three months. Maybe you thought of it this morning. Maybe you have 20 ideas and haven’t started any of them.
Today, we’re changing that.
Your challenge is simple: take one idea and make it sellable before the sun goes down.
You are not building the entire business today.
You are creating the minimum sellable product.
The smallest version of your idea that delivers enough value for someone to pay for it.
02 — Minimum Sellable Product
Your idea is
too big.
Good. Now shrink it.
You don’t need the entire business today. You need the smallest version someone will pay for.
MVP asks
“What’s the smallest version that works?”
MSP asks
“What’s the smallest version someone will pay for?”
Customer problem
What do they need solved?
Your advantage
What can you already create or deliver?
Simplest solution
What’s the smallest useful version?
Your MSP
A real offer. Real customers. Real evidence.
Sell the outcome before the infrastructure.
03 — The one-day system
One day.
Eight moves.
Pick it
One idea. One customer. One outcome.
Prove it
Look for real evidence that the problem exists.
Shrink it
Find your Minimum Sellable Product.
Package it
Turn the product into a clear offer.
Price it
Choose a test price.
Build it
Build the promise. Nothing more.
Page it
Give people somewhere to buy.
Post it
Put it in front of relevant people.
04 — The offer
Don’t just make
a product.
Make an offer.
Customers don’t buy your effort. They buy what your product helps them do, get, save, avoid or become.
Take action.
Achieve something.
Time or money.
A problem.
A better version of themselves.
The offer formula
without [frustrating alternative]
using [your product].
Clarity sells before cleverness does.
05 — Price it
You need
a price.
Not a pricing strategy.
Price the value of the outcome, not the amount of stuff you created.
Pick a number.
The perfect price doesn’t exist yet.
Choose. Launch. Learn.
06 — Build it
Build
the promise.
Nothing more.
Create only what’s necessary to deliver the outcome.
The sunset build rule
“Does this need to exist for someone to receive the outcome I’m selling?”
07 — Page it
You don’t need
a website.
You need a way to buy.
Your first sales page has one job: give the right person enough information to make a decision.
What is it?
Is it for me?
What problem does it solve?
What do I get?
How much is it?
How do I buy?
If your page answers those six questions, it can sell.
08 — Post it
Now do
the part
that counts.
Show people.
You built it. You priced it. Someone can buy it. Now put it in front of another human being.
You don’t need a big audience.
You need relevant people.
Don’t ask: “Where can I get the most views?”
Ask: “Where are the people who actually experience this problem?”
The goal isn’t spam. The goal is exposure to the right people.
09 — AI co-founder
Nine prompts.
One day.
One co-founder.
AI can help you think faster. It cannot create customer evidence.
The important rule
AI can help you: think / question / reduce / write / build / analyse
AI cannot give you: customer evidence.
Eventually, your idea has to leave the chat window.
10 — What you get
Everything
you need
to start.
Sunset — The real test
The sun
is going down.
What happened?
This morning you had an idea. Now you have evidence.
Sell it
People bought or you found enough meaningful signal to continue testing.
Change it
Something isn’t connecting yet. Change one meaningful variable and test again.
Kill it
The evidence no longer justifies more of your time.
One day lost beats six months lost.
You started with assumptions.
You’re ending with evidence.
Tomorrow — Repeat
The sun
came up
again.
Yesterday you gave your idea one day. Today, you decide whether it deserves another.
Sell it
Don’t add features yet. Sell this version again.
Change it
Don’t change everything. Change one meaningful variable.
Kill it
Close the tab. Keep the lesson. Move on.
Run it again.
Sellable Before Sunset isn’t designed for the one great idea you’ll have in your life. It’s designed for the next one. And the one after that.
Whenever you catch yourself saying, “I’ve been thinking about this idea…” give yourself a deadline. Take it out of your head. Put it in front of reality.
Questions, answered
Before you
start the clock.
Is this a course?
No. It’s a practical 19-page digital workbook designed to be worked through in one day.
What do I receive?
The Sellable Before Sunset Workbook plus a separate AI Co-Founder Prompt Pack containing the Master Prompt and all nine copy-and-paste prompts.
Do I need to use AI?
No. The framework works without AI. The prompts are included to help you think, research, write and reduce faster.
Do I need a big audience?
No. The goal is to put the offer in front of relevant people, not chase the largest possible audience.
One idea. One day. One real test.
